Baseball Game Preview: La Habra Highlanders vs. El Segundo Eagles

The La Habra Highlanders will take on the El Segundo Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last four games La Habra has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, La Habra didn't have quite enough to beat Chino Hills and fell 6-4. That's two games in a row now that the Highlanders have lost by exactly two runs.

La Habra saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Lopez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, El Segundo fell victim to Peninsula and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, El Segundo fell to 9-1-1. As for La Habra, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
