Football Game Preview: Hialeah Gardens vs. North Miami

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for North Miami. On Thursday they will take on Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 PM. North Miami don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

North Miami got themselves on the board against Dr. Krop last Friday, but Dr. Krop never followed suit. North Miami took their contest against Dr. Krop by a conclusive 27-0 score. Junior Shawn Guerrier, who rushed for 87 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in North Miami's success.

Meanwhile, Hialeah Gardens suffered a grim 8-42 defeat to American. Hialeah Gardens' defeat continues a disappointing trend for the squad, making it four losses in a row.

Everything came up roses for North Miami against Hialeah Gardens the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 45-8 win. Will North Miami repeat their success, or does Hialeah Gardens have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
