Baseball Recap: Aloha Takes a Loss

The matchup between Aloha and Beaverton on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Warriors came up short against the Beavers, falling 16-6. The Warriors have struggled against the Beavers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hayden Grot was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Ethan Ludlow was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Aloha's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Beaverton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

While Aloha had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
