Osceola won the last time they faced Centennial and things went their way on Thursday too. The Kowboys walked away with a 75-65 victory over the Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Kowboys' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Eagles are ranked 250th).

It was another big night for Jordan Mason, who went 9-for-10 on his way to 22 points and five assists. Luke Mccrimon was another key player, putting up 13 points along with six assists and five boards.

When it comes to explaining why Centennial lost, don't look at Jayden Prosper. Despite the final result, he shot 55% from the field en route to 32 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 49.2% of the Eagles' points, marking the third time in a row Prosper has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Reggie Hayes, who earned 11 points.

Osceola's record now sits at 7-4. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Osceola won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Centennial and St. Albans will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th.
