Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Bluejackets vs. West Washington Senators
Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the West Washington Senators, falling 3-0. The Bluejackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Senators apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.
Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for West Washington, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Mitchell will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Jennings County at 11:00 a.m. As for West Washington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss vs. Christian Academy on the 26th.
