Basketball Game Preview: Enterprise Hornets vs. Foothill Cougars

The Enterprise Hornets will face off against the Foothill Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season.

Enterprise took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They secured a 53-48 W over Shasta.

Enterprise's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justus Williams, who posted 11 points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Williams has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Kye Rawls, who went 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Foothill waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 55-46.

Enterprise's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-6. As for Foothill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Enterprise beat Foothill 48-35 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Enterprise have another victory up their sleeve, or will Foothill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
