Baseball Recap: Pinon Takes a Loss

If Pinon was riding high fresh off their 15-7 takedown of Coronado on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pinon Eagles came up short against the Coolidge Bears on Saturday, falling 12-2.

Pinon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coolidge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinon will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chinle at 12:00 p.m. on March 14th. As for Coolidge, they are taking a road trip to take on Empire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
