Basketball Recap: Brenham Skates Past Rudder with Ease

Brenham lost to Rudder back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Brenham Cubs claimed a resounding 65-33 win over the Rudder Rangers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cubs.

Rudder's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaquise Martin, who posted seven points and five boards. Kayden Holmes was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Brenham pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.3 points. As for Rudder, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
