Basketball Recap: Indian Land Falls Despite Big Games from Jordyn Johnson and Kaitlyn Knoll

Indian Land was the 43-29 winner over Northwestern when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indian Land Warriors took a hard 41-25 fall against the Northwestern Trojans on Wednesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Indian Land had strong showings from Kaitlyn Knoll, who posted seven points along with eight boards and five steals, and Jordyn Johnson, who earned eight points and three steals. Knoll is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played.

Indian Land's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Northwestern, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.

Indian Land has already played their next match (against Nation Ford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Northwestern will head out on the road to square off against Clover at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Clover will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Northwestern surely won't give up without a fight.
