Football Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. John's Christian Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-9. They had to suffer through a 51-7 loss at the hands of the Bethesda Academy Blazers. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-7.

Jacob Glover threw for 130 yards and one TD. Thomas Hester was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards.

As for Bethesda Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average this season.

Bethesda Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Cheever out in front who rushed for 111 yards and one score on only ten carries. Ralo Wesley also helped out with an impressive 94 receiving yards.

St. John's Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethesda Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 46-6 victory against Thomas Sumter Academy on the 7th.
