It was a good run, but Evangel Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in September.

Evangel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 31-7-2. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 31-1-1.

Evangel Christian is on the road again on Saturday to play Ezekiel Academy at 11:30 a.m. Tuscaloosa Home Educators will be paying especially close attention to the Lightning's contest: after the Lightning face off against the Knights, they'll take on Tuscaloosa Home Educators again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
