Volleyball Recap: Dover-Eyota Gets the Win

While Dover-Eyota's victory against Lanesboro wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Burros 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since October 12, 2024.

Dover-Eyota can attribute much of their success to Aubrey Foster, who had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Foster has posted over her last eight contests.

Dover-Eyota's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lanesboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Dover-Eyota will head out on the road to square off against Caledonia at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lanesboro, they will welcome Houston at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
