Volleyball Recap: West 50th Street Takes a Loss

West 50th Street was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Stuyvesant Peglegs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Peglegs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in March.

West 50th Street's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Stuyvesant, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West 50th Street is set to face off against their familiar foe Rustin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Stuyvesant will take on rival Graphics at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
