The Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces will venture away from home to face off against the North Shore Country Day Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ida Crown Jewish Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Ida Crown Jewish Academy came up short against Westmont and fell 52-45.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nina Ripstein, who posted 21 points, and Talia Linzer, who put up 14 points. The dominant performance gave Ripstein a new career-high in points.

Meanwhile, North Shore Country Day had to suffer through a 45-17 loss at the hands of Chicago Hope Academy. The Raiders have struggled against Chicago Hope Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 11-6. As for North Shore Country Day, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy took their win against North Shore Country Day in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 57-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ida Crown Jewish Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
