Volleyball Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short at Home Against Longview

Tyler unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longview Lobos on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18.

Longview found their leader in sophomore Landry Tubb, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Tyler has already played their next contest (against Kilgore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Longview, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lufkin at 4:30 p.m.
