Soccer Recap: South Oak Cliff Comes Up Short

South Oak Cliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

South Oak Cliff's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Oak Cliff will challenge Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will venture away from home to challenge Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on February 17th.
