Annapolis came out on top against Thurston on Monday thanks in part to Zavier Reid's efforts. Reid scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Reid's strong effort led Annapolis over Thurston and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are 8-2 against the Eagles going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
