The Oak Forest Bengals will head out on the road to challenge the Bremen Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Oak Forest's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Friday, Oak Forest got the win against Shepard by a conclusive 44-21. Considering the Bengals have won five games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bremen fell victim to Hillcrest and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of the Hawks. Considering the last time the Braves couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Oak Forest pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Bremen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Oak Forest against Bremen in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 46-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
