Baseball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lathrop Mules, falling 24-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mules this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Monday.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lathrop, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 22-2 loss against University Academy Charter on the 26th. As for Lathrop, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Maysville on the 25th.
