Soccer Game Preview: Flanagan vs. West Broward

Flanagan hasn't had much luck against West Broward recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Falcons will welcome the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Flanagan challenged Stoneman Douglas on Monday. Neither the Falcons nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Flanagan's first draw of the season.

Destiny Thomas and Gabriella Quezada scored both of Flanagan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, West Broward was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cooper City.

Flanagan's draw makes their record 7-7-1 this season. As for West Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Flanagan got the 'W' when the teams last played back in December of 2024 against West Broward by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
