Soccer Game Preview: Arvada West vs. Columbine + How To Watch

The Arvada West Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Columbine Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arvada West is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Arvada West managed to slip by Valor Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 5-2. That's two games in a row now that Arvada West have lost by exactly three goals.

Merrick Woodrich and Jonathan Trinkle scored both of Arvada West's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Columbine and Chatfield finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

With that draw, Columbine's record moves to 6-2-2. As for Arvada West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1.

Arvada West couldn't quite get it done against Columbine when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
