Recap: Spring Hill Raiders vs. Nolensville Knights
The Spring Hill Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to Nolensville. Spring Hill was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nolensville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Spring Hill's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mariya Ramzy, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Ramzy scored a full 28.9% of Spring Hill's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayzia Harrison, who scored 14 points along with 6 steals.
Spring Hill has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Nolensville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Spring Hill will head out on the road to face off against Giles County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Giles County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Nolensville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
