Football Recap: Westside's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games + How To Watch

After soaring to 44 points the game before, Westside was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 27-3 to the West Laurens Raiders. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jaylen Stone threw for 128 yards on 12 of 28 attempts. Ira McEachern was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, Tamari Curry rushed for 45 yards.

Ty Cummings had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 267 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per carry for West Laurens. Cummings really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westside fell to 9-1. As for West Laurens, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After each having a week off, Westside and Long County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for West Laurens, they will take on Beach at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
