Volleyball Game Preview: Kemp Yellowjackets vs. Athens Hornets + How To Watch

The Kemp Yellowjackets will venture away from home to face off against the Athens Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Kemp has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 5.

Kemp came up short against Van on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Kemp was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Van's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Athens lost 3-0 to Lindale on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-7, 25-10.

Athens' defeat dropped their record down to 14-20. As for Kemp, their loss dropped their record down to 3-24.

Kemp might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Athens when the teams last played back in September. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
