Volleyball Recap: Crowley County Falls to Hoehne in First Game of Season

Crowley County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Hoehne Farmers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Crowley County sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 18-25, 25-13, 24-26, 15-9.

The win (which was Hoehne's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Crowley County will square off against Sangre de Cristo on Saturday. As for Hoehne, they will venture away from home to square off against La Junta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
