Baseball Game Preview: Colfax Falcons vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Colfax Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Colfax is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Colfax came up short against El Dorado and fell 10-7.

Garrett Lewis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Wynston Genest, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Placer 6-0. The Raging Rhinos not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st.

Twelve Bridges pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Colfax, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Colfax suffered a grim 17-5 defeat to Twelve Bridges in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
