            On Thursday, the Locust Fork Hornets came up short against the Jasper Vikings  and fell  44-34.
 Locust Fork's loss  came despite strong showings from  Harlie Horn and  Cortlyn Williamson.  Horn  went 5 of 6  en route to 15 points, while  Williamson  posted nine  points and five  assists.
 Jasper's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Gracen Norris led the charge by  putting up 11 points in addition to five  boards and three  steals.  Marianna Rigsby was another key player,  earning seven  points.
Locust Fork dropped their record down to 9-7 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road. As for Jasper, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season.
