Volleyball Recap: Greater Beckley Christian Comes Up Short

Greater Beckley Christian was the 2-0 winner over Bluefield when they last played one another back in October of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Greater Beckley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bluefield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-1.

Greater Beckley Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Teays Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Bluefield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Shady Spring on the 22nd.
