Basketball Recap: Long County Victorious

Long County's game on Friday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 51-45 win over the Calvary Day Cavaliers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Tide.

Zyi'Air Holt had another great game (as he tends to do), putting up 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jy'Son Mallard, who posted nine points.

Long County's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Calvary Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.
