South Carolina does all he can against perennial power Christ School.

The most coveted high school basketball prospect in America made a resounding statement in his season opener Tuesday night.

He's back!

Five-star forward Zion Williamson of Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, S.C.) scored a game-high 46 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 70-62 loss to Christ School (Arden, N.C.).

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound phenom averaged 36.8 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a junior. He has become such a phenom, rapper Drake was pictured wearing his jersey in January. He has over a million followers on Instagram.

Regarded as the No. 2 prospect in the Class of 2018 by 247Sports, Williamson is considering Clemson, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina. No decision date has been officially set, but Kentucky appears to be the frontrunner for his services at the moment.

Williamson and Spartanburg Day will look to put on in the win column next Tuesday against Hammond (Columbia).
