Beaverton hadn't done well against Sunset recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Beavers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Apollos. This was a revenge game for the Beavers: when they faced off against the Apollos back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Beaverton's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.

Looking ahead, Beaverton is taking a road trip to face off against Westview at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunset will be paying especially close attention to the Beavers' contest: after the Beavers face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Sunset again at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
