Softball Recap: Jeffersonville Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Jeffersonville's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Seymour Owls on Wednesday. The Red Devils' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it ten in a row.

Jeffersonville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Seymour, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Seymour will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin Community at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzly Cubs have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. Jeffersonville will be paying especially close attention to Seymour's game: after Seymour faces off against Franklin Community, they'll take on Jeffersonville again at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
