Baseball Recap: Ware Comes Up Short

Ware entered their game against Hopkins Academy on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Golden Hawks since on Saturday.

Troy Dufresne made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 18-2. As for Hopkins Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

As of now, neither Ware nor the Golden Hawks have any future games scheduled.
