Volleyball Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Moscow lost against Lewiston on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Bengals by a score of 3-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Moscow wouldn't go down easily and took Lewiston into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 24-26, 15-11.

Jessa Skinner paced Moscow's offense, picking up 22 kills. Skinner got some help from Allison Dorigo and her 47 assists. Ella Young and Jacquline Williams kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Lewiston, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Moscow has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Sandpoint on the 21st. As for Lewiston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lakeland on the 21st.
