Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Governor Livingston). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 victory over the Brearley Bears on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Highlanders have posted since December 28, 2023.

Governor Livingston's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Brearley, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Governor Livingston will venture away from home to take on New Providence at 2:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Brearley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dayton at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
