Baseball Game Preview: Curie Condors vs. Kennedy Crusaders

Curie hasn't had much luck against Kennedy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Condors will take on the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. Curie has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Curie faced off against Hancock on Monday. The Condors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 win over the Eagles. That's two games straight that the Condors have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Kennedy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 18-6 to Holy Trinity.

The victory (which was Curie's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Curie suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Kennedy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Condors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
