Basketball Recap: Animas Takes a Loss

Animas suffered their biggest defeat since February 8, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 52-28 to the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls. The Panthers have struggled against the Cowboys/Cowgirls recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Animas lost, don't look at Sofia Martinez-Cristancho. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Journey Sheehan, who put up seven points and 11 rebounds.
