Baseball Recap: Tri-City Comes Up Short

Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverton Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Riverton, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Coming up, Tri-City will welcome Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverton, they will square off against Illini Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
