Softball Game Preview: Catholic Central Crusaders vs. Troy Flying Horses

The Catholic Central Crusaders will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Troy Flying Horses at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Catholic Central earned an 8-4 win over Voorheesville. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Blackbirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Troy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26, 2024. Everything went their way against Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Flying Horses' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Catholic Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Troy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
