Basketball Recap: Caldera Find Success

Caldera posted their closest victory since January 30th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hood River Valley Eagles, sneaking past 63-61. The win made it back-to-back victories for Caldera.

Caldera's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hood River Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Caldera will head out to challenge Sandy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Caldera will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hood River Valley, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Bend at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Lava Bears have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
