Baseball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Calhoun hit Seymour with a four-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians fell 7-3 to the Warriors. The Indians have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Seymour got a good showing from Isiah Brass, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, Brass didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

At the plate, Blake Schwartz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Calhoun, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
