After flying high against Rainier on Thursday, Adna came back down to earth. The Pirates fell just short of the Toledo Indians by a score of 11-10 on Saturday. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Adna's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Toledo, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-2.

Looking ahead, Adna is taking a road trip to square off against Toutle Lake at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ducks have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Toledo, they will be playing at home against Morton/White Pass at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
