Soccer Recap: Connellsville Takes a Loss

Connellsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Canon-McMillan Big Macs. While losing is never fun, Connellsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Canon-McMillan are ranked 15th).

Connellsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Canon-McMillan, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Connellsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Mt. Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Canon-McMillan will face off against rival Upper St. Clair at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
