Baseball Game Preview: Lamphere Rams vs. Lake Shore Shorians

For the second straight game, Lamphere will face off against Lake Shore. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Shorians at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lamphere fell victim to Lake Shore and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Shorians, falling 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered since April 24th.

Lamphere got a good showing from Ethan Malak, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Malak has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lamphere saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylon Cox, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lake Shore pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lamphere, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8.
