Soccer Recap: Norton Takes a Loss

Norton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Revere Minutemen, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Norton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 466th, while Revere are ranked 80th).

Norton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Revere, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2-2.

Norton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 6-1 victory against Woodridge on the 16th. As for Revere, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Avon Lake on the 13th.
