Football Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs vs. Alexander Cougars

Kennesaw Mountain lost against Alexander back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 14-7 in the first quarter.

When it comes to explaining why Kennesaw Mountain lost, don't look at Chris (Smooth) Miller. Despite the final result, he threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Jaquan Sutton had an outrageously good game for Alexander as he rushed for 200 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Andre Lovett also helped out with an impressive 133 receiving yards.
