Glenwood extended their postseason success on Monday against Centralia. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Orphans. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their 26th in a row.
Irie Lohrenz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Glenwood's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Taryn Griffith, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
