Volleyball Recap: King's Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

King's Academy can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hoover Buccaneers.

Mikayla Matuszko paced King's Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Matuszko got some help from Jordan Molnar and her 16 assists. Matuszko also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alanis Molina, racking up two apiece.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Hoover, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, King's Academy will square off against Westminster Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hoover, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Houston on the 30th.
