Basketball Recap: Lone Tree Comes Up Short

Lone Tree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-41 to the Danville Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 62-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Lone Tree's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 10-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Lone Tree will challenge Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Danville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
