After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winter Haven, McKeel Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-14.

Leading McKeel Academy to victory were Kenza Benchikh and Nikole Gillingham. Benchikh had three digs and three aces, while Gillingham had five digs. That's the most aces Benchikh has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: McKeel Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santa Fe Catholic only served one.

Santa Fe Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was AJAYIA HODGES, who had 12 digs and six kills. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was PAYTEN DONNELLY, who had 18 digs.

McKeel Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
